Did you know that based on a national census of India conducted in 1998, it is estimated that 12.6 million children age 4-15 are exploited for child labor?

Or were you aware that while we in the Western world speak of industrial progress, another more recent census conducted by the national Census Bureau of India found that the total number of children age 5-14 exploited for child labor is 4,350,000?

Child labor is the practice of exploiting minors for selfishly profit-obsessed and illegal economic activities. This practice deprives children of their childhood and is harmful to their physical and mental development. This is by all standards a form of slavery to the detriment of poor and helpless children that takes advantage of the poverty of the poor.

The main purpose of sponsoring a child is to change the future of a life that would otherwise be destined to misery and dreariness into a life of dignity and well-being by providing that child with an education.

When you sponsor a child through our program, with only €25 per month, you are helping to break the cycle of his or her poverty and contribute to the all-rounded development of a human life that would otherwise have no hope, offering that child food, medical assistance and the possibility of pursuing an education.
